Creditview road is situated in the middle of Mississauga running north and south alongside the Credit River. There are many parks, trails, arenas, baseball diamonds, soccer fields and a community center to promote an active and healthy lifestyle. Neighbourhoods along Creditview, according to the Toronto and Mississauga Real Estate Board, are considered to be in the 'East Credit' district. As far as the area is concerned, most people would still consider these neighbourhoods (West of Creditview road) to be in Streetsville.
Located just west of "Heartland", these neighbourhoods are minutes away from the outlet malls, big box stores, costco, home improvement centers, restaurants and between the 401 and 403 highways.
River Grove ave and Willow Way neighbourhood is a great place for all types of families to live. The diversity can be seen in the neighbourhoods and in the schools. Streetsville is the 'Village in the city' and Mississauga has the 'World in a city'. Majority of the population are upper-middle class with growing families.
The Culham Trail starts from just north of Britannia on Creditview by Credit Meadows Park and runs about 10km along the Credit River behind River Grove Community Center and through Streetsville, passes Timothy Street's house (Founder of Streetsville), continues south on Queen Street (Mississauga Road) and then you go down Barbertown road (where the fine Old Barber House restaurant is) which leads you back down towards the Credit River. This takes you past Eglinton and into Hewick Meadows park (Behind the Croatian Church on Mississauga Rd.) and the Culham trail finishes off just past the 403 and into Mississauga Gardens park off Burnhamthorpe.
