The Old Mill Area – Amenities

The Old Mill is one of Toronto’s historical villages that is depicted as a quiet and mature neighbourhood with their renaissance inspired homes and plush green forest space. Tridel is going back into the root of Toronto’s history with their “Modern Classic” that is set with Toronto’s first world amenities by being steps away from the subway and connected with the boutique shops, cafes, markets in Bloor West Village and the Kingsway.

  • Known to have one of the most affluent areas in the GTA, the Kingsway features hundreds of shops, boutiques, restaurants, pubs and cafes to cater to those who enjoy the finer things life has to offer.
  • Bloor West is a bigger stretch of a village style shopping experience with boutique shops, services, entertainment, pubs, cafes, restaurants, and destinations that provide a wonderful variety of charm as you pass through it.
  • Close enough for a bike ride/jog down to Lake Ontario and tour the Humber Bay and Promenade park, the plush Etienne Brule Park and Humber River is in One Old Mill’s backyard.
  • Situated on the Bloor-Danforth subway line, One Old Mill is steps from the Jane Subway station

One Old Mill – Building and Amenities

The architecture is distinguished by the combination of both the Classic Old Mill neighbourhood, yet almost in the Urban Bloor West Village. By combining a sophisticated light French taste of limestone and decorated with window mullions, One Old Mill is one part old, one part new and a whole part Lush. Tridel has an excellent history in building countless successful projects all over Toronto and continues to be, a well recognized household name.

Keeping up with the times and technology, Tridel is going to implement a green roof at One Old Mill which captures rain water to redistribute to the greenery on the grounds. Not only that, they have a solar thermal panel “farm” area which will help out with the utilities for the building and ultimately drive down the maintenance fees for energy consumption in the common areas.

There will be a sky lounge on the roof fully equipped with barbecues, lounge chairs, and patio. Throughout the building, there will be many suites that will have their own private terraces. One Old Mill will offer world class amenities with a pool, steam rooms, fitness room, yoga studio, guest suites, a grand theatre room, a party room and a dining room.
