The Area

The Building – Amenities

The Mercer Condominiums at John and King will have amenities that reflect the area it is in. On the ground floor, there will be retail units along Mercer and John Street. The lobby will have a stunning museum of modern design feel and throughout the common areas. Their indoor amenity space on the second floor will have a fitness centre, a party room, a theatre, sauna and spa area, as well as a hot tub.

The Mercer will boast its 10,000 square foot roof top patio terrace on the 6^th floor. It will have 42% of the terrace covered with greenery. A host of private lounges, game area, kitchen, dining, cabanas, misting stations, an outdoor screen for “movie under the stars”, and obviously being in Canada, barbecues to complete the Mercer condos amenities.

The Suites

After visiting the presentation centre at the site location on Mercer and John, the model suite screams of luxury. The designs are Italian-inspired and finishes of quality with brushed nickel faucet/shower/door hardware levers, granite counter tops and glass ceramic tiles. Suites will have approximately 9 or 10 foot ceilings. Energy efficient appliances throughout obviously.

Prices

The Mercer condos will have a total of 415 suites, ranging between 363 square feet to 1000+ square feet. They have just revamped their pricelist that includes a cash back (amount depending on suite), a better deposit structure of $3,000 on signing, balance of 5% in 30 days, 5% in 120 days, 5% in 365 days (unheard of), and obviously 5% on occupancy. Prices start at $227,900 with $5,000 cash back for the 363 square foot Studio and goes to over $700,000 for 3 bedrooms which are well over 1,000 square feet. The incentives go up to $12,000 cash back (if you register with me) for two bedrooms and up. Maintenance fees are about $0.515/square feet.
